Agile work boosts awareness about environmental themes

Dedagroup’s Agile Work project aims to both achieve people’s wellbeing and environmental sustainability. Here are the first results.

An economic, cultural, and social long-term development can only be achieved if pursuing sustainable growth

At Dedagroup, this awareness translates into the actions of our people, as well as in the projects we carry out for our customers and the daily good practices and initiatives implemented by the Group.

Among these there’s the Agile Work project, that was chosen by over than 90% of the Group professionals. This project is aimed at enhancing people’s wellbeing and work-life balance, as well as at contributing to environmental causes.

The Dedagroup Agile Work project was launched in 2021 and it promotes the flexible alternation between remote and office work, thus also trying to have a concrete impact on environmental sustainability by reducing travels and raising awareness among Deda People on this issue.

The first results are positive: according to an internal survey about sustainable mobility, the introduction of the Agile Work project resulted in an 80% annual decrease of the Deda’s People movements, that translates into a saving of 1,631 tons of CO2 emitted in the atmosphere, or the planting of a 54,000 trees forest.

The Agile Work project highlights a change of pace in the Group commitment to decrease commuting-related pollution. At the same time, it represents a concrete example of Dedagroup willingness to not only creating value for their people and clients, but to also expand this contribution to include the entire society.
