Dedagroup Stealth's acquisition of the start-up Bsamply finalized

 

This transaction strengthens the Company’s position in the fashion industry, extending its offer for managing an extended supply chain and accelerating the digitalization of the fashion raw material sector with a close eye on transparency and sustainability and in line with ESG policies.

 

Trento, July 25, 2022Dedagroup Stealth - a Dedagroup subsidiary that for 30 years has been committed to supporting the growth of the main fashion and luxury brands with its expertise and software platform (ERP) - following the press release dated May 30, 2022, and the occurrence of the conditions set forth in the related agreement, finalized the acquisition of 100% of the business unit that controls the innovative platform of the start-up Bsamply.  
Created in 2019, this platform fosters dialog between raw material suppliers and fashion and interior design companies, promoting the digitalization of the fashion raw material sector. Even at a particularly difficult time in the procurement of materials and the ensuing price hikes, the Bsamply platform can be used by companies for searching, sampling, and ordering raw materials from qualified suppliers, contacting the garment makers best suited for manufacturing collections, but also for managing the sales process of their products and consolidating orders from retailers, selecting the organizations that best reflect their ESG strategies.  

For a market leader such as Dedagroup Stealth, which already enjoys a 60% market share and is one of the very few companies in the world, and the only one in Italy, to have developed a technological platform dedicated to the Fashion & Luxury sector, this transaction is highly strategic as it allows it to expand its offer for an even more extensive supply chain governance, also with a view to sustainability and traceability. In fact, the Bsamply platform, which will be natively integrated with the Stealth® world, will enhance the value for brands of the new S-Connect module, which allows suppliers to independently inform the customer about the progress of their order in process, avoiding situations in which possible inaccuracies in data collection are detected only in logistics. In addition, thanks to the transaction and the integration with the Stealth® ecosystem, the over 8,000 current users of Bsamply’s platform — major fashion brands, suppliers, and start-ups — will have the opportunity to showcase their products, in accordance with the highest standards of transparency, to the most important fashion companies, accelerating their growth and the innovation that their products may offer the entire sector. 

With the acquisition, Bsamply Lab, a Tunisian company of qualified software developers, also becomes part of Dedagroup Stealth, thus further expanding the company's and the whole Group's international footprint. The current development plan envisages the growth of Bsamply Lab to provide skills and new resources to Stealth®'s development teams, thus starting an important synergistic process designed to stimulate professional growth and the development of projects increasingly focused on innovation and Agile Work methodologies.
